An intuitive and versatile photo editing application, PhotoDirector 7 Ultra from CyberLink is an all-encompassing program designed for retouching, adjusting, and sharing photographs. Enabling the ability to work in a non-destructive manner, layers-based editing is possible for producing creative composites or multi-step edits without affecting the original image. A series of both local and global editing tools lets you refine the look of photographs, including the basics like RGB curves and a series of one-click presets up to more creative features like Bracket HDR and gradient mask. Aesthetic blurs can be applied to imagery in a controlled manner or, conversely, lens corrections can also be applied to remove distortions and aberrations based on the lens in use. Portraits are benefitted by an array of dedicated retouching and content-aware removal tools and multiple image composites can also be produced using the Panorama and Creative Compositions modes.

In addition to the editing capabilities, PhotoDirector 7 Ultra also features a robust infrastructure that is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems, including 64-bit versions. Integrated cloud storage lets you seamlessly backup your work and partner mobile app lets you continue your editing on-the-go. Rounding out the rich set of features is extensive compatibility with most digital cameras, and their respective raw image file formats. Designed for photographers looking for a seamless solution for all aspects of digital post-production, PhotoDirector 7 Ultra helps to increase efficiency while offering extensive creative control for adjusting your photographs.

An integral component to making advanced edits to your photographs, layers allow you to create multiple image composites and apply adjustments in a non-destructive manner. Up to 100 layers can be used per image, and 14 different layer blending modes allow you to refine the look of composites. Additional layer management tools include rename, duplicate, delete, adjust, convert, and merge.

• Bracket HDR: Up to five bracketed frames can be automatically merged together to form a single high dynamic range (HDR) image that contains greater highlight and shadow detail, along with an extended range of mid-tones. Additionally, automatic alignment and ghost artifact removal technologies help to produce realistic results.
• Radial Filter: Helping to draw attention to a specific portion of your image, the radial filter helps to emphasize light sources, highlight subjects, or apply creative vignettes.
• Noise Reduction: Benefitting images made at high ISO settings, and particularly those made in low-light conditions, this noise reduction tool helps to eliminate unwanted artifacts for greater clarity.
• RGB Curves: Individual RGB channels can be adjusted for refined control over color, contrast, and tone, or for producing creative colored effects.
• Gradient Mask: Various gradient masking techniques allow you to produce creative tilt-shift effects to produce a “miniature” look.
• One-Click Presets: A range of dedicated photo presets can be used to quickly adjust the look of your imagery, and include creative styles such as HDR or Lomo.

• Linear, circular, and brush tools can be used to apply differently shaped blur effects to images to better suit a range of compositions.
• Four pre-defined shapes let you mimic the look of shallow depth of field imagery and adjust the amount and quality of bokeh in the photo.
• Zoom and motion effects can be added using the radial and focal zoom blur functions.

• The EXIF data from your files can be used to instantly and accurately correct for a variety of lens flaws. Support is available for current camera and lens combinations, as well as the ability to work with various raw image file formats.
• More than 100 supported lens profiles are pre-loaded, with additional profiles available at DirectorZone.
• Lens corrections help to alleviate the unwanted effects of barrel distortion, vignetting, and chromatic aberrations. Keystoning or converging lines can also be adjusted.

• Face Beautification: Dedicated adjustments are available to retouch specific regions of the face, including shine removal, wrinkle removal, eyes blinger, eyes enlarger, eye bag removal, face shaper, skin smoother, and tooth brush.
• Adjust Skin Tone: Skin tones can be enhanced and modified to deliver more consistent, healthier looking skin coloring.
• Body Reshaper Tool: This dedicated tool allows you to quickly adjust the shape and apply adjustments to the body’s natural contours for a professional retouched feel.

Sequences of images can be seamlessly stitched together in order to create wide-angle panoramic images. Intelligent background auto-fill maintains image continuity for more realistic results by filling in any missing edges between individual frames.

For non-destructive repairing and removal of objects from an image, this tool can be used to quickly and intelligently restore backgrounds of photographs void of distractions.

For creating unique compositions comprised of elements from different images, this function contains tools for selecting objects or people to extract from one image as well as the ability to overlay them onto a new background.

Availing the ability to seamlessly backup your work and settings to a cloud-based storage site, CyberLink Cloud is automatically integrated within the program’s design and offers seamless sharing to the cloud for greater file security and availability. Included with this Ultra edition is a one-year subscription to cloud storage for up to 20GB of files.

A dedicated app for Android and iOS mobile devices allows you to continue editing imagery on-the-go and directly share to social media websites.
